THE 34^TH ANNUAL ADAMS AVENUE ROOTS & FOLK FESTIVAL

 The 34^th annual Adams Avenue Roots & Folk Festival will take place on Saturday, April 21, 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, and Sunday, April 22, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, on Adams Avenue, located in the Normal Heights community of San Diego. The festival is free and open to all-ages.

 This year’s Adams Avenue Roots & Folk Festival will include more than 60 musical acts performing on six stages. Among the artists performing at this annual event are Grammy nominee Mike Seeger, Carolyn Hester, Guy & Candie Carawan, Ross Altman, and Sparky & Rhonda Rucker. Roots-lovers will enjoy a variety of music, including blues, old-time music, traditional folk, bluegrass and roots rock.  In addition to the incredible music, there will be a beer garden, wine tasting, and more than 200 food, arts and craft vendors selling their specialties throughout the festival venue. Also on tap are music workshops and song swaps moderated by Lou Curtiss and Joel Henderson.

 The Adams Avenue Roots & Folk Festival is presented by the Adams Avenue Business Association, a non-profit organization, whose mission is to promote and increase commercial activity within the Adams Avenue Business District.
