Adams Avenue Business Association has contracted with McFarlane Promotions Laurel McFarlane of McFarlane Promotions will be working in cooperation with host organization, Adams Avenue Business Association (AABA), for the 7th Annual Taste of Adams Avenue scheduled to be held on Sunday, June 24, 2007 from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The AABA requested the assistance of McFarlane Promotions to build on the growing success The Taste of Adams Avenue has experienced over the past couple of years. McFarlane Promotions’ reputation with local media, print advertising, radio and television gives the Taste of Adams Avenue significant support to ensure continued growth and success. McFarlane promotions has coordinated such events as Mardi Gras in the Gaslamp Quarter and (their specialty) a variety of “Taste of…” events including La Jolla, Hillcrest and Downtown. This year’s Taste of Adams Avenue will feature trolley transportation supplied, by Old Town Trolley Company, to over 20 restaurants, pubs and eateries along Adams Avenue. Participating establishments will serve taste-sized portions of their food specialties and hors d’oeuvres. There a number new establishments participating in the 2007 culinary event. These new restaurants include; Cantina Mayahuel located at 2934 Adams Avenue, Jayne’s Gastropub located at 4677 30th Street, Casa Adams at 3038 Adams Avenue and Tino’s Mexican Restaurant found at 2736 Adams Avenue. The media sponsors of this event include KYXY Radio which will have games and excitement on location in the event venue for all to enjoy. Tickets will be $20 in advance and $25 the day of the event. Taste of Adams Avenue tickets will be sold in participating restaurants or the AABA office.
